Attached to the back of the stand is a square box made of wood with hinged top and green felt covered interior. Box and stand are intact with antique wear and discoloration due to age. Some scratches to wood, wear on fabric. Some pulling apart of box from stand,but still attached. May have been giled with some type of wood adhesive . Hinge is brass. Looks handmade, hand carved. No markings from manufacturer on it.
