Description: Vintage Asian carved Soapstone This came to me with a large collection of similar sculptures, some dated as far back as the 1910s, and others not dated. This sculpture is undated. This sculpture shows two tall, slender brush pots with a bird in front and a detailed, ornate base. Could be used as a brush pot, pen holder, toothpick holder, etc. or simply as decor as-is. The detail in this sculpture is amazing. The color is sort of a mottled beige/tan throughout. Due to the nature of Soapstone there will be discrepancies in the texture, color, etc. with small fissures, scratches, and the like, but there is no damage to disclose. In excellent vintage condition all around. Measures approx 2.5" wide, 3.5" high, 1" deep
