This shirt has been frequently worn. There are a few faint stains on the front torso area and some loose stitching here and there. There is also a lot of wear to the tag and some small loose threads. Overall 6/10 Quality. I cannot confirm the authenticity of this jersey. This jersey also has a very baggy fit to it. The 2005/06 Season was one of Barcelona’s best ever seasons in the club’s history. After an impressive league campaign, Barcelona won La Liga convincingly. At the beginning of the season, they also won the Supercopa de España beating Real Betis. Elsewhere in Spain, Barcelona made it to the Copa del Rey Quarterfinals but were narrowly eliminated by Zaragoza. What the season is most known for is Barcelona’s triumph in the Champions League where an immensely successful campaign saw them make it all the way to the final where they defeated Arsenal in a classic match. The following 2006/07 season saw a noticeable drop-off in form for Barcelona. After an extremely close and crazy La Liga season, they just missed out on the title, finishing 2nd place behind Real Madrid due to head-to-head results despite being level on points and Barcelona having a better goal-difference. While they did defeat Catalan-rivals Espanyol to win the Supercopa de España, Barcelona famously lost the UEFA Super Cup to fellow-Spanish side Sevilla and fell in the Club World Cup Final to Brazil’s Internacional. In the Champions League, Barcelona ended up narrowly losing to eventual finalists Liverpool in the Round of 16.
