Description: This is a late 1800s Nippon violin in baroque set up. It is in used working condition, with a few blemishes in the varnish and a small nick on one of the sides. Has brand new Aquilla gut strings, with extra E, A, and D string. The fittings have been installed by Brobst music store. Comes in case shown in pictures. The case isn't connected at the sides but will stay closed with the latches in the front. This violin is made for 415Hz tuning. New tailgut has just been installed after the pictures were taken. Violin body is 13in. Nippon is Japanese for japan, and violins with tags of Nippon were only made 1880-1910 Now comes with a new case for free if requested .
