He was one of the most outstanding personalities in Portuguese painting of the first half of the sixteenth century, royal painter of D. Manuel I and D. João III, soon adhered to the cultural and artistic change that led to the Italianization of Portuguese art in the late thirties of the 1930s The medal has 5 cm (1.96 inches) diameter, 3 mm (0.11 inches) and weighs 47 grams.Was made in 1985 by the sculptor A. Candido, with the refinement of the "Epreuve" finish on high-relief bronze magnificently covered in pure 24-carat gold.Includes protective plastic case visible in photos to maintain good condition.
