Description: Bicentennial Commemorative Medals: Date range 1972 - 1976. In this group there are 4 different years, 13 medals in all: (5) from 1972, (3) from 1973, (2) from 1975 and (3) from 1976. As far as we can tell, none have been removed from the individual clear (air-tight) cases. All have been handled, but not abused. Most are complete; only two have missing components: One of the 1972s is missing its' blue background felt and the accompanying paper fact sheet and one of the 1976s is missing its' fact sheet. The rest are complete as presented here. The subjects of each medal are as follows: 1972 - George Washington, The Sons of Liberty1973 - Samuel Adams & Patrick Henry, Committees of Correspondence1975 - Paul Revere, Lexington-Concord, The Shot heard round the World1976 - Thomas Jefferson, The Declaration of Independence, July 4, 1776 All have a "P" (Philadelphia) Mint Mark.
