Of course, I often found shells so bleached out by the sun there was no pattern left on the shell, but I did find a couple of great ones right after a storm had swept by, and the shell just seemed to glow laying there on the sand! . Anyhow, as the video shows,thisbigbeauty with the dramaticpatternand nice lip has more of the wear and tear common to a shell this size---multiple growth lines and a worn shoulder and spire---yet it still is a very nice specimen from a rarely offered location that will lookfantasticsitting on your shelf! A great addition to a first-class collection. As for normal disclaimers, we do the best we can with photos, but color is tricky, especially since cell phone cameras automatically lean towards flesh-tone coloring, (that's why so many of the photos of shells on eBay show up with more orange than is really there, the camera changes the color, and damm if I can figure out how to stop that from happening, but I try, honest!
