Description: This 1979 stereo LP from EMI Angel Records (S-37562) presents Spring Symphony by Benjamin Britten, performed by the London Symphony Chorus (directed by Richard Hickox) and London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by André Previn. Featured soloists include Sheila Armstrong (soprano), Janet Baker (mezzo-soprano) and Robert Tear (tenor), accompanied by the St. Clement Danes School Boys' Choir (directed by Keith Walters). Album notes are in English by Hugh Graham, and an enclosed leaflet contains full lyrics of the performance. The outer sleeve has a faint crease on the upper right corner and a taped cut on the lower left (see Photo 1), but is otherwise in excellent condition.
