Reviews Gerald Gehrke 4.0 out of 5 stars - Verified Purchase Very good so far Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2022 Color: 36V/48VSize: 350W Installed in Walmart Hyper city cruiser e-bike. Had trouble with the setup because I mistook the power jumper for the "intelligent" direction sensor. Basically, once you power on for the first time, the motor will run kinda slow, but it may not spin. Make sure not to leave it in this state for too long, or I think it could overheat. To get it to run in the right direction, per the instructions, you'll have to disconnect & reconnect the green wire. Then, to get it out of continuous operation and use as normal, you will have to disconnect this green wire again & leave it disconnected. Throttle works. Seems to deliver a lot of power. Ordered 250w version, Walmart bike's motor is rated 250w. Controller I replaced was also rated 250w. Unsure of the Amp difference. 4/5 for the instructions. 5/5 if the power connectors matched the ones coming from my battery (maybe just a "me" issue) & if the instructions were a little more clear. Also, haven't actually ridden yet. Just powered on & did a quick test. Will probably update review if it fails or overheats, but so far it's looking promising. Kevindt 5.0 out of 5 stars - Verified Purchase Good basic 24V/350W brushless controller. Reviewed in the United States on April 8, 2023 Color: 24VSize: 350W My powered wheelbarrow (24V/13A max) stopped working. It has the usual 3-phase brushless motor driving two wheels via a reduction-geared differential and a 6-wire thumb throttle with 3-led voltmeter. Some basic troubleshooting located the problem to the controller. This unit was easy to use as a replacement, though I did have to play with the connectors a bit to match the old ones. It came with a small wiring diagram (Chinese and English) that helped, though my needs were simple - just throttle/ Hall sensors/ motor phase lines and power. At first powering up, the motor just shuddered. As soon as the programming wires were joined, it rapidly programmed itself to the correct direction and phasing - from there on in it was perfect after separating them. Like most of these controllers, the lock connection ("main electric door lock" in the diagram) carries the full 24+ volts on its red wire, unlike most of the other red control wires (around 5 volts). Be careful with that one! A branch off that wire can drive the throttle control's green voltmeter wire. My barrow is now working well again with this low-cost controller. Keith 746 4.0 out of 5 stars - Verified Purchase A minimal controller Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2021 Color: 36V/48VSize: 350W I have it successfully operating. It does not have "Hall Effect" functionality if your motor does. It's connectors were incompatible with my motor , throttle, and battery connectors. I had to splice in compatible connectors. It has no instructions. I needed to switch the direction of rotation of my motor but did not know how to do it. A YouTube video suggested trying switching the Blue and Green wires. That worked, but I was on my own. I recommend looking for a controller with instructions. Paulywood 5.0 out of 5 stars - Verified Purchase Great replacement controller Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2018 Color: 36V/48VSize: 350W I used this controller to replace my Schwinn Town & Country Trikes; CON61 BRUSHLESS CONTROLLER 36V 250W Over-current 14.5A LVC:28V Sensorless and sensored compatible 3.5 in x 2 in x 1.125 in. 89 mm X 51 mm x 29 mm I have a basic setup and only use the throttle control. Although the low voltage cutoff on this unit is higher. The performance is a bit different then the CON61. For instance the low end output appears to have a much longer ramp up time, so I'm not jumping off the line as fast, however this is a good thing as now I probably am using less battery, extending my range. My Max speed on flats has increased from around 15 mph to 20 mph, probably because of a higher current limit setting and this being a 350 Watt rather than a 250 Watt. Hopefully I will not burn out the motor, but I think it's fine. The small size of this unit made it the perfect choice because anything larger simply would not fit in the already tight housing. If you are wanting to get the wiring diagram request it before the unit gets to you as they don't include a copy. I upload my copy but not sure if the quality is there. If you are substituting a CON61, most of the connectors match but not all of them so be prepared to cut and solder, or crimp the old ones onto this new one. 2MARKO 4.0 out of 5 stars - Verified Purchase Not for scooter. Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2020 Color: 36V/48VSize: 350W It works great, however 0 documentation: no manual, no data shit, no noting. In the end pics helps, not to hard to figure it out. Lighting output can be useful but ut doesn't hav that. Runs my 800w motor with no problem. The so called PAS connector does not work! So if you have throttle and PAS then you can only use one of them! . . .
