Description: From a Cape Cod estate in Cummaquid Massachusetts comes this incredible 15" Simon Halbig 1079 doll made for Au Nain Bleu and the french market. She is completely original from her wig and pate down to her little french shoes. Her body and dress both still have the Au Nain Bleu label, and she still has her original pin which could hold her watch or locket. She has no chips or cracks to her bisque head. One earring hole is lighter in color but no chips. She has all her fingers and toes. Her french body was a mama body but the strings are gone or pushed inside and I'm not going looking. There is crazing on her left lower leg. She has original pantaloons, chemise and petticoat. The chemise has a seam split where the holes are for the pull strings so I don't know if that was done on purpose or not. Her slip and bloomers have spots. I saw 2 similar dolls on pinterest wearing the same dress from Au Nain Bleu. Please review all photos and ask questions. All sales are final NO RETURNS.
