Description: Selling from my California Pottery collection. This larger rectangle planter from Weil Ware, a Los Angeles pottery company producing in the 1940s (along with Franciscan, etc), has beautiful blue flower blossoms and buds with mauve pink accents, teal green centers with incised design, and a glossy finish with crazing throughout the creamy white background. Made of ceramic, this mid-century modern planter features a textured design and stands at 2-1/2 inches tall x 10” x 5”. Rolled top with 1/2” edge. No backstamp printed on this one but sure to be vintage Weil Ware Made in California, incised by the artist with initials NE(?) and the #8. Small flea bite to upper outer rim, heavy crazing with one appearing as crack but doesn’t go through. Glaze stand marks and two tiny flea bites to glazed bottom. See my other Weil Ware items! You will find Catalina Pottery with same planter design, Max Weil bought their molds when they went out of business. As-is. Please ask questions.
