CONDITION: We are pleased to offer for sale a beautiful set of Mount Vernon candlesticks. The No. 130-4" candlesticks are not easily found in the Royal Blue (cobalt color). This lovely set of candlesticks is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The candlesticks look unused. Should you decide to purchase these candlesticks I am sure you will be thrilled with the condition and the color. Mount Vernon (1931 -57) (Amber, Carmen, Crystal, Emerald, Ebony, Green, Heatherbloom. The Cambridge Glass Company introduced the Mount Vernon pattern in the 1930s. The pattern is a pretty hobnail or diamond point design incorporated into elegant shapes. Because this design was so popular most major glass companies from this time period had at least one set of dinnerware based on a diamond shape design. Mount Vernon was Cambridge's answer to the demand for this style dinnerware . Mount Vernon was a full service set with dinner plates and an abundance of serving pieces. Barware items wee also produced in this lovely pattern. The abundance of color made it possible to use a set of Mount Vernon with almost any existing set of china.
