The original of this extremely rare and special bracelet went to auction in 1983. As a world traveler and sophisticated patron of arts and crafts, Jackie knew of the Castellani Bracelet and always wanted one so one may presume that it was purchased for her at the auction. Originally made in 1870, The Castellani Wedding Bracelet was created by Augusto Castellani in Milan. Castellani was one of the greatest jewelry designers of Europe and created a saying that became the ultimate symbol of love and devotion: NON RELINQUAM means, "I will never give up on you." NON RELINQUES means, "You will never give up on me." Some plate rub on the top of each clasp and between the links, otherwise fine.
