The high-carbon flex-tempered steel blades closely follow the proportions of the period and are button tipped for safety. These tapered blades provide a superior balance compared to the traditional parallel-sided schlagers, making for a lighter, faster sword. An outstanding blade, available in both 37" and 43" lengths (42" and 48" overall) We have a dozen of them in use in my Adria group, and never had one broken or even bent.
