Description: Excellent quality American-made Case XX huge model 311 Hunting Bowie in rare unused condition, complete with original leather sheath. W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Co hand-finished this big boy in 1989 in Bradford, Pennsylvania, USA. The 311 design is based on the famous WW2 era Case V-44 fighting knife. The is modern design was actually based on the famous WW2 era Case V-44 survival/fighting knife. The knife is about 14-1/8” / 36 cm overall; mirror-polished blade is about 9-3/8" / 24 cm. Large black plastic handle provides a very comfortable grip; solid cast bronze handguard with the "lone star" on the underside; all parts are tight. The blade is spotless, factory edge is RAZOR-sharp; the tip is intact. Original black leather sheath is also unused; the leather is soft and supple. This "Hunting Bowie" is pretty much the same as V-44, except it was made with better quality modern materials. The knife is about 14-1/8” / 36 cm overall; mirror-polished blade is about 9-3/8" / 24 cm long. Large black plastic handle provides a very comfortable grip; solid cast bronze handguard with the "lone star" on the underside; all handle parts are tight. The blade is spotless, factory edge is RAZOR-sharp; the tip is intact; the knife has never been used or carried. Original black leather sheath is also unused; the leather is soft and supple.
