It comes with a wooden base that appears to have been produced specifically for this item. The stone tests as jadeite on a Presidiun Gem tester.I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: The item presents really well but the tip of the tail of one of the birds has broken off, there may be other small losses but I have not noticed any.
