Description: This is a reproduction Civil War Confederate dark gray/black wool shell jacket with Cavalry C buttons. The jacket is designed in the Richmond Depot Type I style with buttoned epaulettes. Approximately a size 40. Look at the measurements in photographs. I will gladly take any adfdirtional measurements on photographs. I purchased this many years ago from a fellow reenactor at the 150th Reenactment of The Wilderness in Virginia, therefore, I do not know its makers origin. White cotton lined inside. It has 8 reproduction imported England block aid runner " Lined Block C" coat buttons.These have manufacture marked "Waterbury Button USA stamped on their backmarks. The two epaulette brass buttons are cuff sized "puffed" with no design.
