Description: Vintage 1973 Craig Zweifel Hand Blown Dark Cobalt Blue Art Glass set of 2. This pair of 1973 wine glasses were made by Master glass blower Craig Zweifel (1944- 1920). The goblets have thick pedestals and long stems each with a petal like holding the bowl. The bowls of the goblets have a tulip-like shape, with flared rims. The goblets are a very dark cobalt blue color. The glasses are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or crazying. There are production related anomalies in the glass including waviness and small air bubbles which are mentioned for accuracy. Both pieces are signed and dated by the artist on the top of the pedestal that reads ZWEIFEL 9-73 As the goblets were made individually, there are variations in size, shape which includes differences in height, both size and the diameter of the base: Goblet A is 9.5 inches tall, opening at top is 3 5/16 inches in diameter. The base is 3 10/16 inches in diameter. Goblet B is 9.75 inches tall, opening at the top is 3 3/16 in diameter. The base is 3 5/16 inches in diameter
