Description: This is an early Creek chub husky pikie wooden lure in an NRA box. The Husky Pikie was first produced around 1925. NRA boxes (National Recovery Act) were only marked from mid 1933 to mid 1935. The earliest Creek Chub metal diving blades had no markings, as you can see on this lure. Pre 1935 bodies had no “Creek Chub” stenciling on them. This lure probably dates from 1925-1935. This lure is in remarkable condition for its age. Thank you for your interest.
