Edge Sealant protects the edges from turning black which occurs when silver backing is exposed to humidity. The sealant provides long lasting protection against moisture and other harmful conditions.Product Warning:THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS A CHEMICAL THAT HAS BEEN RESTRICTED FOR SALE BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. Use a mixture of alcohol and water, or denatured alcohol to clean any contaminants from the edges. Applying an edge sealer over contaminants will trap them against the mirror and may actually cause the mirror edge to deteriorate more quickly.
