Description: Up for sale is a custom 2x Anamorphic lens rig. It attaches to your existing camera and lens using 2x 19mm rails. The included matte box is equipped with flags and a drawstring shroud to eliminate flares and reflections in the lens chain. Included: - Isco Ultra Star 2x Anamorphic lensNice clean optics, only flaws being a couple of tiny spots of coating separation which doesn't affect image quality. Focus and locking mechanism are smooth and quiet. - Canon lens collar and rubber ring to secure lens to allow for vertical adjustment. - 72mm lens hood modified to shroud rear of anamorphic optic. - Manfrotto-style quick release baseplate securing lens assembly to baseplate. - 19mm rod rails and baseplate. - Matte box with drop in filter trays and adjustable flags. Decent condition with only a few dings on the side flag rails. Included are 2 rotating 4x4 filter trays for using square ND and CPL filters and diopters. I've used this setup on some short films and music videos. When combined with a taking lens 70mm (or full frame equivalent) or longer it produces a 2x squeeze factor, authentic anamorphic bokeh and horizontal blue flares. It is relatively light, compact and easy to focus and perfect for narrative work. It focuses down to 1.5m without the need for additional diopters. See the last few photos for some real world usage. Selling because my work is mostly live events and documentaries these days and such a specialized kit should go to someone that's going to actually use it.
