Description: Up for sale is this Dell XPS 710 that I reassembled about a year ago now.It is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6700 at 2.66GHz that can be overclocked to 3.2GHz, four 2gb sticks of Kingston DDR2 800 SDRAM for a total of 8GB of RAM (800mhz DDR2 isn't officially supported but still runs), an EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 (based on a listing I saw of an XPS 700 that also had this card), and a 160GB Western Digital Raptor WD1600ADFD hard disk drive. Four HP DVD RW drives make up the 5.25" bays alongside a 3.5" diskette drive and a multimedia card reader. This machine has Windows XP Media Center Limited Edition installed, a mod of Windows XP that has all the features of Tablet PC and Media Center Edition alongside the unofficial Service Pack 4. DVD+R disc is in the first drive since it has nForce drivers needed for reinstalling and because I left it there on accident (it's already been packaged). There is no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, so you'll need an adapter. Only the chipset, video, and audio drivers have been installed, but there is a TV tuner card from an XPS Gen 3 that needs drivers installed. I also recommend installing the Winter Fun Packs from '02-'04 and the Christmas 2004 theme since 'tis the season. This machine is the perfect gift to anyone who's into mid-late 2000s gaming. It is more than capable of running AAA titles from the 2000s to early 2010s.
