Description: Disney DL - 1998 Attraction Series - Carousel of Progress pin Carousel of Progress is one of 67 pins released as a series in 1998 (before pin trading had officially started) to commemorate some of Disneyland's favorite attractions - both present to that time and from the past. The Carousel of Progress - which was first replaced at Disneyland by America Sings and then by Innoventions - still exists in Walt Disney World. This pin shows the father from the show, in gray and black sitting on a dark blue chair, has his yellow and gray dog in front. The background is triangle of purple. At the top are the words CAROUSEL OF PROGRESS (Carousel is in blue); beneath is the Disneyland logo. The pin represents the first scene, Turn of the Century c. 1904. The man is John, the dog is Rover. This gold-finished pin measures 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) tall by 1 1/2" (3.8 cm) wide. Great pin! All pins have been traded and may have minor flaws and should be considered used if not noted as new in package. Pin is in great condition and waiting to be added to your collection!
