There are two types of torque wrench in the market, one of them is flat tube head ( the tube closest to the torque wrench head is flat ). This type of torque wrench makes loud sounds when it reaches the torque value you set but it can not be used in reverse. Our product is the round type, it will not make very "loud" click sound when it reach the set value, but if you rotate it slowly, you can still feel the "click" sound as a vibration. However, the main benefit for the round type torque wrench is that you can use in reverse, and you still can set the torque value which the flat type can not do.2. When you first receive the product, the torque value is set at 1. You can run a test and see how the vibration sounds like. Pull the lock ring down, rotate the handle and set the torque value to Nm 3, then grab the torque wrench with your right hand and push the torque wrench head with your thumb, if you can feel the vibration “click" sound, that means the torque wrench is working fine and you can go ahead and use it anytime.3. You can move the needle from the torque wrench head to set it forward or reverse. The needle set to right is clockwise, or forward and when you move the needle to left, it can be used counterclockwise, in reverse. 4. We have given two units for this torque wrench (Nm and Inch-lb). Newton Meter starts from 1 and ends in 25, and each rotation will add 2Nm to the torque value. There are 10 gaps in one rotation, each gap can add 0.2Nm to the torque value. For Inch-lb unit, it starts from 8.9 and ends in 221.3, and each rotation will add 17.7inch-lb to the torque value and each gap is add 1.77 inch-lb in between.
