Dog photo appeared in the December 1942 issue as part of a Agfa Ansco Superpan Press Film full page advertisement. Cats photo appeared in the September 1947 issue as part of a Ansco Film & Cameras full page advertisement. These are two original magazine pages - they are not done on photo paper - just thin paper used in the magazines. Paper quality during that time was poorer due to all the money and resources being poured into the World War II effort. Dog picture info in ad: Notice how perfectly his mournful eyes, his floppy ears have been recorded.
