Description: Stunningly beautiful piece from famed African American Mid Century Modern Potter, Lane Doyle (1923-2002). This is one of 3 pieces that I will be listing from my small collection. Please see last photo in listing to see the other two Small weed pot measuring a touch over 3" wide by 3-1/2" tall. Orange glaze. I cannot see any damage/cracks/breaks/repairs. There are two tiny "flea bites" on the inside of the top opening. They are smaller than a pinhead, but best to mention them for completeness sake. Opening has some roughness/lack of glaze. Im assuming this is from prior use/display of "weeds" as intended. Inscribed on bottom "LANE" by artist. Will be shipped double boxed/insured to secure safe arrival.
