Description: For sale today is the out-of-print (oop) DC Comics trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel ElfQuest: The Grand Quest (Volume 6) by Wendy and Richard Pini, published in 2004. The Grand Quest continues as Cutter and his tribemates are reunited as they seek the legendary Palace of the High Ones. But betrayal and death line the way when they're driven into a brutal conflict against murderous trolls who guard the Palace! I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in good overall condition, especially for its age, with a solid spine, great inside pages (photo#12 example), and minor levels of shelf-scuffing/scratching. Its main flaws consist of/relate to its status as an ex-library book: it has library stickers around the lower spine corner, on the back cover, and on the inside first cover page and inside back cover. Other than that, it has some lighter and primarily external signs of wear. **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Light scuffing/film peel. A few small film peels near corner on back cover. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: Tiny indent/ding towards spine corner, otherwise light scuffing along edge.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend/cover peel, goes thru ~7 pages lightly. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: Light shelf-scuffing along it.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a light bend. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: 2 small/light adjacent cover indents near its middle, edge itself has light if any shelf-wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages lightly. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Light ~1" adjacent cover indent near its middle (photo#10 w/illumination), edge has some light shelf-scuffing near the spine corner.-Outer corner: Small indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/2 pages mostly as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses 2 small creases/depressions near the page edge's middle, and some tiny film peels/scuffs along the page edge (photo#11 w/illumination). Back cover's page edge has a light ~2.5" scuff at its middle. A few light scratches/indents near cover's center.
