Description: Eskimo Art - Canadian Inuit Hunter Man Soapstone Carving Signed & Numbered 1973 Measures approximately 8.75” tall. Weighs 4 lb 4 oz. There are a few chips on the base. The largest is a chip on the underside of the front of the base. This does not cause any issues with how he stands. There are a few areas of wear to the stone that I know for sure are scratches that occurred after he was carved. I have pointed these out in the last 3 pictures. It’s hard for me to tell if any of the other marks on the stone are naturally occurring or if they are areas of wear. Most feel as smooth as the surface of the piece so don’t appear to be scratches or dings. Please examine all photos as they are an important part of the description and condition.
