Description: This is the August, 1936 issue of Esquire, the Magazine for Men, a 202 page, 10"x14" softcover published by Esquire, Inc. This issue had a particularly strong lineup of contributors, with an article by F. Scott Fitzgerald and the first appearance of one of Ernest Hemingway's best-known short stories, The Snows of Kilimanjaro. As it happened a derogatory reference to Fitzgerald in the story caused a falling-out between the two writers. It's in good condition. The cover has many small creases, rubbing. The interior is unmarked but most pages have small reading creases, and the first couple pages show foxing at the bottom right corner and along the side edge.
