Description: Professionally Recovered Original football stickers bring you a complete set of Italy stickers from the FKS World Cup Special 1982 World Cup football collection. Includes all 7 stickers that appear in the album (6 players and badge). These stickers are notorious for their adhesive failure and subsequent ‘yellowing’ of the aged glue. All these stickers have had the discolouration removed and their original ‘white sheen’ restored (see the difference in pic 3). They are then given a thin new adhesive backing fully restoring the legendary ‘peel and stick’ enjoyed by many kids nearly 40 years ago. In that respect they are better than unused as finding a non yellowed version of these with a strong original adhesive backing is virtually impossible. Also, where the stickers are originally cut a little out of true, we have corrected this as in images 4 and 5 (left border). Where both borders are slightly out of true then this has been left as it will compromise the sticker width. Naturally this extra sticker is not included in this sale, just simply for demonstration purposes. All are in excellent condition, please enlarge the pic and have a good look at what we are selling as these are the actual stickers you will receive. The sticker numbers can be seen to the rear although feint. As you see them on this listing is how they appear in the album.
