Description: FRANCESCO BIASIA Rare Vintage 80s Tan Brown Leather Shoulder Bag Purse I searched the internet to learn more about this bag and only found one other one like it, so the information below is educated guesswork based on the bag itself, what I know of the original owner, and information from that other bag's listing. The other listing calls this bag rare, and considering I looked at literally hundreds of Francesco Biasia bags and only found one like this, I think that's likely true. I'm reasonably certain this bag dates from the 80s, as this was a hugely popular style then. Although there are no material tags that I could find, this is clearly made of high quality leather, as all Francesco Biasia bags are. It is quite roomy, with a large zippered pocket inside. The bag was clearly well-loved and used often by its original owner; so often, in fact, that the Francesco Biasia embossed on the front of the bag is nearly worn away; you can only see it when the light hits at the right angle. She also was not good about capping pens before tossing them in the bag, because there are a LOT of ink marks in the lining that are clearly from an uncapped pen. There are also some stains and scratches on the outer leather (see photos), which I personally feel just add to the vintage look. All in all, the bag looks pretty good for being 40 years old. The only issues it has are cosmetic and relatively minor; the bag is otherwise in excellent condition. B4
