Description: FULL LETTER of AUTHENTICITY from JSA #XX55880 Original signature of FRANK SINATRA in blue steel-tip fountain pen ink on a 3" x 5" index card! Signed in March 1982 after one of his shows at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas! I obtained this piece directly from the original owner. ABOUT THIS AUTOGRAPH AS DESCRIBED BY THE ORIGINAL OWNER - THE PERSON WHO OBTAINED THE AUTOGRAPH - "Frank Sinatra signed the card backstage at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. A friend who knew him, took me backstage after his incredible performance in March of 1982. At that point, Sinatra was 67 years old but still fantastic to witness in person.. Despite being in the twilight of his career, Ol' Blue Eyes mesmerized the audience and his voice sounded great. When my friend took me into Sinatra's dressing room, he was sitting in front of the mirror, wiping his brow with a handkerchief as a crowd gathered outside his door. Somehow, I was able to give him the card and he autographed it with his own pen. It was definitely a night to remember." See scans of front and back of index card for overall condition. Also included is a press photo from 1982, to match the time period of the signature, suitable for framing with the autograph. Here is your opportunity to own a vintage Frank Sinatra signature – an authentic autograph from the early 1980s signed in his dressing room at Caesars in Las Vegas. Authentic Sinatra signatures are very rare! This is a must-have piece for the serious Sinatra collector pegged to a specific time and place during Frank’s legendary career. A terrific investment - the signature of a legend. Many people try to sell Sinatra signatures – some authentic, but must not authentic. Do your research before you buy a Sinatra signature. Rule of thumb – if the price is too good to be true, it probably is. Consult with industry experts like third party authenticators if you are unsure or have doubts. Sinatra was a willing autograph signer throughout his career (60+ years), however many forgeries and secretarial signatures exist in the market today. It is widely known that Sinatra utilized secretaries to deal with his mail correspondence, including autograph requests, as far back as 1939-1940. Many (some would argue MOST) of the Sinatra signatures you see for sale in the market today are classic examples of secretarial signatures from the 1970's - 1990's or outright forgeries. Do not take on the risk of buying a Sinatra signature that you do not have confidence in. Look for signatures that have credible background and provenance. Sales tax applied and collected directly by eBay, where applicable. US shipping via USPS Priority Insured. International shipping via eBay Global Shipping Program only. I have been collecting Sinatra signatures for a long time and have some other items like the one for sale here that I am considering selling in the future.
