Fully Restored Unmarked Wagner Ware No. 8 Cast Iron 10-1/4" Dutch Oven Roaster

Description: This listing is for a nice fully Restored Unmarked Cast Iron Dutch Oven. It is the number 8 measuring about 10-1/4" in diameter and stands 4-1/4" tall without the lid. This unit is unmarked as to maker, but it is thought to be made by Wagner ware, however, some say that it is not so I should say that it is an unmarked unknown maker. Either way, it is a very nice set ready for your table. The lid is marked with 8x and the pot with 8 underscore. The bottom is flat without wobble and there are no cracks, repairs or damage of any kind other than some slight pitting on the outside bottom from former rust. This Dutch oven has been cleaned with the lye process, removing all organic waste including soot, baked on food, carbon and any other contaminate. It is then washed in a hot soapy bath. After this process, it is determined if there was any rust under the carbon and the underside was soaked in vinager and then steel wooled ....removing the rust. It is in great condition and will make a great pot for years to come. The pot has been lightly seasoned and will need continued seasoning if you intend to use it and why would you not.
