Description: GENERATOR MILITARY 105GFD/176 1.5 KW 2 Cylinder Mint 28V Like New 1968 Perfect. This unit was bought at a military surplus auction 35 years ago and I have stored it ever since it is fully operational and rope start with a twin cylinder overhead valve Kohler engine I believe is rated and about 12 horsepower. I believe the oil is even the original as installed by the manufacturer in 1968. I have run it with only a prime, as I don't want to add fuel for it must be shipped. Also the military had stored it without fuel up until the auction in 1990. Some of the original paint has flaked off over the years but there is no corrosion or rust as it has been stored in a very safe indoor environment. These units are not supplied with a muffler but there is a pipe with a flange ready to attach any type of device that you wish to use. This is probably the best preserved original you will ever find. It weighs in at 125 lb and I would probably ship to your nearest Fastenal store via Blue Lane Freight for a very reasonable price. I did already ship an identical unit to California last December for just around $200 via UPS. It arrived safely, (check my feedback please). I ask that before you bid you question me for an exact shipping cost to your nearest Fastenal store as a cheaper option. Fastenal, however does not go west of the Rocky mountains from our Eastern zone here. I've checked with shipping UPS out to California and it runs just over $220. I've sold one unit already. 2 left.
