Georg Jensen Denmark Modernist Vintage Sterling Silver Huge Heavy Thick Wide Adjustable Ring #174Designed by Bent Gabrielsen Pedersen in 1973 and handmade in Denmark, design number 174, no longer in production.Bent Gabrielsen was one of the most important jewellery designer in Denmark, who made most famous designs mostly for Hans Hansen and only few for GJ.It's difficult to measure this ring, but I try my best.The top part of the ring is 1.55 cm x 1.7 cm and sits 1 cm high from a finger.The shank's width is from 8 mm (bottom) to 5 mm (top sides), thickness is from 3.5 mm (top sides) to 2 mm (bottom).Weight is 9.2 gr (on my jewellery scale).The ring is open and adjustable. Currently inside diameter is about 16.5 mm, because of the band's thickness and form by my experience currently best fits to UK sizes L 1/2 - M, but a new owner will be able to make it slightly smaller (no more than 1/2 size down!) or bigger (but it will change the ring's look because the gap will be bigger).Stamped: Georg Jensen (dotted oval), Denmark, 174 (model), 925S.The ring is in a very good vintage condition with slightly visible signs of wear, please see pictures for details or ask me.The ring will be sent with sign-for, tracked and insured service.I'm a private seller: no return, only sign-for delivery.I’m neither a jeweller nor a professional seller, I sell my personal collection.
