Description: Very good- excellent condition on this old Rudolph noske scope. Appears to be the 2 and 1/4 power, type b version. The cost of this scope in 1930 was $34, which translates to over 600$ today! These scopes were offered as add ons for some of the finest rifle makers of the 30s and 40s like griffin Howe, Townsend/whelen. The view through the glass is pretty much crystal. No noticeable cloudiness or flaws. This was actually the "budget" offering from noske, but has held up extremely well. Especially if your application calls for quickly adjustable windage and elevation without the removal of caps. The clicks are firm and audible, just as they would have been new nearly 100 years ago! Not many are left out there, and even fewer are in such great shape! If you want one to complete your old griffin howe, Townsend or other custom rifle, this is an excellent choice. Very cool scope. I will include a printout with good information and history about these scopes. This one will serve you well!
