Description: St Gregory Single Decade RosaryThis great single decade rosary has a 1" gold-toned medal, handmade in France, with a full color picture of St Gregory on the front and a textured back. The 2" gold-toned Pope St John Paul II crucifix was made in Italy; the chaplet itself was designed and handmade in the USA by me. The eleven beads are 8 mm and are genuine, natural, smooth, round semi-precious gemstones. The single Our Father is a Green Adventurine, and the ten Hail Mary beads are Red Flake Jasper, a red brick color stone with tan markings.I thought at first that the medal's image was of St Gregory the Great, who was a 6th century Pope and the patron saint of musicians, singers and educators. After doing some research, I discovered that it might be St Gregory of Nyssa, who was a 4th century Bishop and important Father of the Church.
