Description: I am selling my entire collection of Hardy Boys book as well as some other books in my collection. The Hardy Boys collection consists of over 220 different books and 1 or 2 duplicates. The collection includes early books from the 1920s through the later picture cover books of the 60's and 70's and all in between. There are 1st editions, harder to find variations and examples of all the different dust jacket art, spine types, book boards and end papers and even story revisions. Information on each book that I provide comes mostly from the fine guide, Hardy and Hardy Investigations 6th edition by Tony Carpentieri and Paul Mular. If you are looking for a certain book for your collection or just readers for your kids or grandkids, check my listing periodically because it will take some time to get all these listed and I will do it randomly. All my jacketed books are protected by Mylar, done by me or a previous owner. I'll combine shipping if requested.Note: Since I originally listed these books, I have sold about 195 of them. I thank all those that have bought from me and hope you are pleased with your purchases. I still have 30 or so books and will continue to list them. A great number of the first editions, variations and harder to find books are now gone, but there are still white, yellow and wrap spine books as well as a good number of PC's with both original and revised text available. Thank you all for looking. This is a 1959 printing of The House On the Cliff, the 2nd title in the Hardy Boys series. It is the 52nd printing of this title and the 2nd printing of the revised text edition. It is also the 2nd printing of the wrap style dust jacket which featured the 3rd different art work done for this book. This cover was done by Rudy Nappi. There were 7 distinct printings done in 1959, a rather extraordinary amount. Besides the changes updating available volumes, there were various art/spine and endpaper combinations. This, the 4th printing of the year has a tan book with light brown multipic endpapers to go with the above mentioned features. The wrap dust jacket has a few larger flaws that need mentioning. On the front, what look like clouds in the sky are some type of white smudges added by a previous owner. There is paper loss at all 4 corners, the worse at the top and bottom of the spine. There is creasing on the front edge and the back spine edge. Inside the flaps are good but a tad dirty, the endpapers are clean and bright as well as unmarked. The book boards are unblemished and the pages are clean with the exception of Keith Roper's signature on the blank page on the back of the front endpaper. In the back, the second to last page, (blank, the last page is the endpaper), has pulled apart from the binding at the top. It remains attached to the last page, (endpaper), but the separation is seen between it and page 180. The rest of the binding seems fine. There is a photo. The H&H designation for this book is The House On the Cliff 1959D-52
