I will try and list a variety of pieces each week and hopefully you will find items of interest to you. This Harmony Kingdom box figurine named "Siren Song" was carved by Peter Calvesbert in 2002. It was hand painted/finished by local craftsmen in the Cotswold area in England.. Harmony Kingdom description: "A family of manatees find some aquatic plants for lunch, despite the pollution that threatens their habitat. Along with the bottles and cans is a boat propeller, representing one of the greatest dangers to these slow-moving animals: speed boats. The top manatee bears the scars of such an encounter. V.V. inscribed on a rock stands for Victorian Village, a U.S. House of Lords dealer who took Peter Calvesbert to the Lowry Park Zoo to visit the manatees during his 2002 tour. The signature mouse peeks out from a fore-flipper (be careful not to confuse him with the fish!). The interior of the Version One shows a baby manatee (362 pieces worldwide show the baby with a bottle; 2138 pieces worldwide do not have a bottle).
