This sale is to purchase a really super rare antique late Art deco period empty watch / pendant or bracelet box box, finished in red leather, a domed top and a red shaped velvet pad, suitable for a watch of bracelet and a period inscribed interior. This box dates from C1930s. The box is branded by the world's premier department store, Harrods of Knightsbridge, London.Please note: Please read the condition report and view the images, before buying as this item is worn, but complete and undamaged. It has been priced to reflect its condition! This box is of a wooden construction, with a dark red leather type finish to the exterior, a red velvet pad and an inscribed satin interior. It is fitted with a good hinge and a button clasp. The box: measures 3.5’’ in length and is 3.5'’ wide. The box is 2.0'’ high when closed. The interior measures 2.75'' in length and is 2.90'' wide. The overall interior height will accommodate a number of different articles. Condition: This item is in antique condition 3/4 and shows age related scuffing wear to the exterior and to the rub points. The interior pad is in good order, but is a little faded and losing some pile. The interior satin is in good order but is a little foxed. The hinge cover is in good condition, but is foxed.
