This doll was obtained by me thru friends of mine, he is a paranormal psychologist, his wife is physic/clairvoyant and can speak with the dead. introducing Eve. She was born in the small town of Arrow Rock, Missouri in 1864. She was the youngest of two daughters. Her parents were local farmers, and worked hard to give the girls want they wanted. Her older sister, Mildred, was stunningly beautiful. Eve was also very pretty. Both girls were born with stars in their eyes, and wanted more than the small town of Arrow Rock could offer. Eve was four years younger than Mildred, and always looked up to her. As Mildred got older, she decided to pack up her worldly possessions and take the train to New York City to search fame and fortune. It did not take long with her beautiful looks that people took notice. She started performing in plays singing and acting. She would write long letters back to Arrow Rock telling her family how happy she was and how wonderful she was doing. Eve grew tired of the little town of Arrow Rock. By now, her sister Mildred had met and married a rich New York banker, and wanted time to settle into being a new wife before her sister came out to live with them. One evening Eve went to the local church picnic, and met a recent widower by the name of Earl. After a whirlwind relationship, and Eve realizing it might be years before she could move to New York with Mildred, accepted Earl's marriage proposal. After the wedding, Eve tried her best to be a good wife, but always waited by the mailbox for a letter from Mildred. She loved hearing about her glamorous life. She soon became disenchanted with Earl, knowing this type of boring life was just not from her. One day, she got a letter from Mildred, who told her she was leaving her banker husband. She was also planning on getting half of his income, and would have enough money to live comfortably. She put the fire down deep inside of Eve about joining her in New York. One day, Earl and Eve hooked up the horse and carriage to go into town. Somewhere along the road something spooked the horse. She started running and bucking, and the carriage came loose from the horse. The carriage ended up going into a pond and flipped upside down. Eve swam out safely, but something caught Earl's pants leg and he could not release it. He ended up drowning. After the funeral for her husband, Eve took the train to New York to meet up with Mildred. After six months in New York, Eve came down with Tuberculosis and died within a couple of months. Neither myself or my friends that investigated this case have not gotten any solid answers. Some say that Eve spooked the horse herself right before it went into the pond, and purposely did not help her husband. Apparently the townspeople suspected some type of foul play, especially after she left town still in her funeral clothes. I have gotten many different answers from Eve. Most of the time she has said no when I asked her if she had anything to do with Earl's demise, but at times she has stated maybe. The psychic could see the carriage flipping in the water, and saw Eve come out, but could not see under the water to see if Eve tried to help. She did see that Eve did not go for help, even though there was a house about a quarter mile away. Thru the spirit box she has said "can't see" "oops", and has said the word Earl. I do not think she is at all dangerous, I just do not trust that she has ever told the truth. Maybe she doesn't remember, or has blacked it out. I have a large caseload of dolls to work with, so I am passing her on to give someone else a shot. At nighttime I have heard the sound of galloping horses, and have heard someone call the name Earl. Can you help Eve?
