Description: This 1969 British album from Argo (ZRG 598) features a performance of Joseph Haydn's Creation Mass. The mass is performed by featured soloists April Cantelo, Helen Watts, Robert Tear, and Forbes Robinson, as well as The Choir of St. John's College, Cambridge, directed by George Guest, also featuring The Academy of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, led by Neville Marriner. Album notes are in English by Robin Golding. There is a cutout in the lower right that cut through both outer and inner sleeves. The inner sleeve is noticeably yellowed from age. The outer sleeve also shows a small collection index sticker in the upper right corner of the back (Photo 2). Also included is a photocopy of the original album review from the March 1969 edition of The Gramophone. This is one of many titles from an extensive collection of classical LPs and CDs that we will be listing here. All have been carefully stored for many years, played only on premium equipment, and show little to no wear.
