Description: Honda XR200R XR200 XR185 Aftermarket Camshaft Fits 79'-2002 125-200cc Camshafts are Based off XL185, XL200, XL125 Designs I have personally Tested These Camshafts with Great Success.. In the Following Machines.. 1979 XR185, 1983 ATC185S, 1983 ATC200, 1984 ATC200S, 1983ATC200X, 1983ATC200E Please Check The Following Before Installation , Were here for installation and Tuning Tips. Check Camshaft Bushing Clearance , weather you choose to use a used bushing or new bushing.. Some new and new old stock bushings have been found to have both rust and machining imperfections. Make sure you verify oil flow to the port in the bushing journal. Check the timing advancer pin location. Compare to old camshaft to the new one. Visually it should appear in the same approximate location. There were a small amout of cams found to have the hole drilled in the wrong location, its quite obvious flaw when found.. If installed you will notice that the timing adavancer " timing mark will not align with the timing mark on pulse generator at "TOP DEAD CENTER" "CHECK BEFORE INSTALLATION" to avoid wasting time.. if you do not have an old cam to compare ..... Install Pin and Timing advancer on new cam , Timing mark should point approximatly straight up when cam lobes are down. There is not an issue with the Regular Camshaft pin Holes, they are all in the same spot.. This is a visual check to make sure its not one of a hand full of mis-machined camshafts that got through quality control at the manufacturing level. I know of 3 out of 200 ish that had the pin hole in the wrong spot. If your is in the wrong spot it will be returned to me and replaced by the supplier.. Message for details.
