The book is not an art book as in showing how to draw, paint or sketch, it is designed for the already talented and perhaps proven artist to use the guideposts for making money in the vast art field. Contents shows many venues for commercial artists as well as cartoonists; keep in mind this book was printed prior to much, if any, internet activity so internet is not mentioned. Title page back shows photos of the 24 artists that did the illustrations in the book, 23 men, 1 woman. Book measures 11.75x8.0 and consists of 80 pages with the 24 black and white illustrations and much text. Pages clean, tight at binding. Covers are showing use/storage creases and soil. Book came from husband's downsizing as he can no longer sketch or paint. Covers have been opened widely but still good at binding. Upper tip of front cover has a large area where something has peeled off and stuck onto the cover. Handling soil on front and back covers, covers are slightly tanned with green and black illustrations on front only. Back cover has heavy crease near spine along with smaller, shorter surface creasing. Leaf edges a bit soiled. Lower tip of front cover has small but heavy bump which slightly extends onto first few pages; top tip with small bumping. No title on spine. Heavy paper covers, pages are nice, smooth paper; illustrations and artists' photos are well printed. Some wear along cover edges.
