Description: The broken place is not seen from the front and does not in any way affect the performance. This has an "open/close" slide that lifts the lever to the "use" position. It has a "lazy Susan" type swivel for the base. The pictures are a large part of this description. Please examine them to get a complete idea of the condition. This will fit a brewer designed for airpots with a 12" or greater measurement between the bottom-most part of the brew funnel and the base. The lid is easily removeable with the hinge catch at the back for ease of putting in a brewer and cleaning. I have brewers this will fit in other listings here on eBay
