This intaglio print depicts a variety of sailing ships docked at sunrise in the harbor of the French town of Nice. The work is signed both in-plate in the lower right and by hand in graphite in the lower left margin. It is hand noted as an artist proof, and numbered 8 in an edition of 18. It is presented under glass in a gilded wood frame with black trim. There is a hanging wire mounted to the verso.Condition- good to fair; debris under glass; very minor warping to paper; chips with finish loss to frame; surface wear to edges and corners of frame.Dimensions21.5" W x 17.5" H x 1.0" D- measures frame; visible image measures 15.75"W x 11.5"H.
