Collectors can no longer get their hands on this quality material so the surviving shows that are available will keep going up and up in value. These radio shows were never intended for public use & most were destroyed or returned to the manufacturer after use, so they're very difficult to find. The Album Network's "In the Studio" was a weekly radio show that would re-visit some of Rock's greatest artists and their music. Hosted by Redbeard, this episode features John Mellencamp and was broadcast the week of July 3, 1989. This specific episode of "In the Studio" comes in a custom Album Network envelope style cover with special artwork on both the front and back covers. Most copies sent to radio included the regular "In the Studio" cover, however this copy includes the special cover with custom artwork on the front & back. I have been collecting radio shows for over 35 years and I have never seen this cover before! I am told it was made as a one year anniversary cover exclusively for Album Network executives. This is a rare find indeed. If you collect "In the Studio", I have at least a hundred episodes available for sale. If you are looking for a specific show - I probably have it.
