Description: John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band. Vinyl record. Produced by John and Yoko and Phil Spector. Recorded in England and manufactured by Apple Records. I'm guessing the pic on the back is a young John Lennon. I don't have access to a record player, so I can't comment on the audio quality. I looked closely at both sides at different angles and did not see any significant scratches (i.e. scratches you'd look at and say "that's going to cause an audio problem"). I do see what I'd call "surface scratches" or "micro scratches". They're much more noticeable in direct sunlight (if holding the record at an angle - see pic) vs. indirect sunlight or indoor lighting. If you hold the record in front of you and view it straight-on, you'd find it difficult to see them (as seen in the straight-on pics of the record). The one pic of the surface scratches gives you an idea of what to expect on both albums. If you'd like more pics, let me know. After taking all the pics, I decided to invest in better record sleeves.
