Construction is one piece injection molded polymer with integral locking hasps, ribbed, pivoting back, and foam lined interior. This box was designed for the Kimar model K85 blank firing pistol. Original factory sticker is faded but still reads Kimar S.I.A. / Mod. 85 Auto / Cal. 8mm K / Mod. Top Firing Black Finish / COD:120.000, remainder illegible. Interior compartment will accept a handgun with overall length of 9 inches from grip frame butt edge to muzzle; and height of 6 inches from grip butt to top of the rear sight. External dimensions are 9 1/2 inches length by 7 inches width by 2 1/4 inches thickness. This box came to us back in the previous decade with several handguns confiscated by the Texas Department of Public Safety. It had, of all things, a Walther PPK/S in it when we got it. Finish is green with light gray interior foam. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, foam surface wear and hinge stress. We rate this box as Very Good Condition, but photos ought to suffice for our shoppers to check our grading for themselves.
