Description: This pottery mug was made by Woods to celebrate the 1937 coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It measures approximately 4 3/8 inches long including the handle and about 3 3/8 inches tall Any spots in the photos are just camera flash glare. The underside is marked as shown in the photos. This coronation mug is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, stains, etc. There is only the most minor of completely colorless crazing -- what little there may be, is the type of thing that's best seen when the piece is held at the right angle in a strong light and isn't readily noticeable under normal conditions.
